Add a row or column to a table

 

  1. To add a row or column or remove a row or column, place your cursor inside your table and click the Table button on your toolbar to open the table properties.

  2. In this example change Rows to a "1" and click OK.

  1. You will get prompted "Are you sure…" because it will remove rows from the bottom. If you had entered less columns, it will remove from the right. Click Yes.

  1. The row has been removed.

Note: If you want to add rows or columns, go back into the table properties and increase the numbers.
