Backup your website

The last thing you would want is to loose all of the work you have done on pages that may have not been published to the internet or saved anywhere else.

Backing up your website should be done once a week depending on how frequently you update your website.

EWB can perform a complete backup of your entire website as one file that includes text, images, download attachments, font styles, formatting, publish settings and template settings.

 

  1. Select from the File menu, Export Backup.

  1. Checkmark Website publish information and click OK.

Note: Selecting to save website publish information will save your ftp settings. 

  1. Browse your computer and find a good location to save the backup file and click Save.

Note: Not only should you save the file on your computer, you should also copy the file to a CD or other backup device.
