Edit header and footer styles

Each template will have a Logo, Slogan/Web Title and text at the top of the page. This is the header area. There is also an area at the bottom of the template that contains copyright text. This is the footer area. In Ewisoft, you can edit the style of these areas as well as merge them together should you want more control over them.

Editing the Slogan/Web Title:

 

 1. Click the Slogan/Web Title in the View mode and the style screen will open.

 

 2. On the Slogan/Web Title styles screen you can change the Text, Alignment, Border and if you would like to Merge any part of the header for more control.

 

 3. If you click the Merge tab, you will have the following selections:

Don't merge the header and keep the original design - to keep all 3 parts of the header, no changes.

Merge the header and display the Logo only - to keep the Logo only in the header.

Merge the header and display the Web Title only - to keep the Slogan/Web Title only in the header.

Merge the header and display the editable area only - to keep the editable text area only in the header. This option gives you the most flexibility as you can position your images and text just as you like.

Editing the Logo:

1. Click the Logo in the View mode and the style screen will open.

2. On the Logo styles screen you can change the Picture, Alignment, Border, Link and if you would like to Merge any part of the header for more control.

3. If you click on the Link tab, you can specify if you would like the Logo to link somewhere. You can also specify if you would like the link to open to a new window.

4. If you click the Merge tab, you will have the following selections:

Don't merge the header and keep the original design - to keep all 3 parts of the header, no changes.

Merge the header and display the Logo only - to keep the Logo only in the header.

Merge the header and display the Web Title only - to keep the Slogan/Web Title only in the header.

Editing the Footer/Copyright area:

1. Click the Copyright area in the View mode and the style screen will open.

2. On the footer styles screen you can change the Text, Alignment and Border.
