How to download after payment accepted.

Hello,

I have several products that I just give away and others that I charge for. I need to have the ecommerce list and detail view to show all the products on one page (sort of an index to the category group) and then describe the details for the products on another page.

For a product that I charge for, I placed a Buy Now button. In the sandbox the payment is processed.

How do I setup the download page so that after payment is received, the purchaser is redirected to the download page.

Do I need a download page for every single product item? If so, is it placed under the detail page - sort of the equivalent of a Thank you page for the contact form.

Need some help here!!

Hi Wayne,

In our next release we will have the capability for you to sell/send downloadable products all in an automated fashion just as our website does for when customers purchase ewisoft products. This is in the future though and don't have a date when this release will be.

Ah, after all this time spent learning of the product, I cannot use what would be the most important function of an ecommerce site - a redirect to a download page. Can I assume the Ewisoft side was built using the software? If so, the code is already in place.

I'm really disappointed.

I know that you didn't have any info on the next release date, but perhaps you can tell me on average how long it is between updates? 1 month, 2 months, ... , 10 months? How about a beta test?

I am the programmer of the software.
We are developing new features to allow you to sell downloads (such as mp3, pictures, movies, or anything downloadable).
It has our highest priority now.

It will have such feature:
After purchasing, the payer will be show the download link.
And an email with download link will be sent to the customer's email too.
The download file will be safe and won't be shown in the download link.
Also you can limit Download link with/without times/date limitation

The new version should be ready in 1 or 2 months.

Thanks for the update. I really look forward to those features. Right now I pretty much need to stop work on the website I was developing because the above feature didn't work.

However, I am working on another website that uses pretty much static pages so EWB will fit the bill nicely.

I hope you're going to email all of us when the new update is released. Also, will there be a charge for it? I purchased EWB about two weeks ago.

I am afraid we do not collect emails and send out update emails. Please visit our website and on the homepage you can see our last update. You can also use the Check Updates function in ewisoft software.

There is no charge for the update.

I'm trying to setup an intranet with EWB. Pretty successful so far.

I look forward to the update. I hope it incorporates things that would be found in a shopping cart where the link back could produce a page that looks like an accounting statement with a download button for each product purchased. That would be nice.

Ditto here: I downloaded website builder / payment was accepted, but I have recieved nothing in the way of access codes, and when I am prompted to (get) I fill out the e-mail and then.... no reply... so, I have purchased a product I do not have full access to. has any one else had this experience?
