Check Updates not checking

I don't think it is working where EWB is to Check Updates. My customers have this checkmarked but have not been notified there is an update.

My last version didn't notify me either of an update when you put out 2.2.9.30.

How frenquent to check is proper? We use 14 days but it many be too long...

I mean, what does the message say when it finds a new version?

Does it ask the user if they wish to upgrade?

It is not automatically enough.
Currently it only open a web page.
In the future i consider to download the update exe file to the desktop for ther users.
Users need to run the update anyway.
